| Abstract: | The space statistical characteristics of a smooth stochastic field are elaborated. On the basis of concept of smooth stochastic field ergodicity, conditions that soil strata are satisfied with ergodicity are discussed; and equations of calculating space mean variance and correlative distance are deduced. Finally, the influential factors of calculating space mean variance are analyzed combined with a static cone penetration data. |
