| Abstract: | Advances of research on the composition,order disorder,defect structure,thermodynamic behaviors and application of sillimanite are reviewed.The studies may provide a theoretical basis to rational application of sillimanite.It is argued that further research on foreign elements,structure and their variation of sillimanite would be worthwhile. |
