| 摘 要： | 海南岛保亭地区南好组选层型剖面新发现腹足类 H ormotoma、 Raphistomina ,腕足类 Ferganella?、Xinanospirif er ?、 strophomenids,竹节石 Tentaculites?和珊瑚 Favosites?等化石 ,表明其时代属志留纪而非早石炭世。以往报道该地区南好组的 Tenticospirif er、 Ptychomaletoechia等腕足类化石应为晚泥盆世 ,而非早石炭世。岛北部含有典型的早石炭世早期化石的岩关阶以碳酸盐岩及细碎屑岩交互成层为特征 ,与保亭地区南好组层型剖面岩性迥异 ,不宜用南好组表示 ,应另建新的组名。

| Abstract: | The discovery of fairly abundant fossils including gastropods Hormotoma, Raphistomina, brachiopods Ferganella?, Xinanospirifer?, strophomenids, tentaculitid Tentaculites? and corals Favosites? in the lectostratotype of the Nanhao Formation, Baoting area, southern Hainan Island, indicates that the formation refers to Silurian, rather than Early Carboniferous in age. Furthermore, the Nanhao Formation will be abandoned, if there is no sufficient palaeontological evidence to prove the existance of Lower Carboniferous Series at that area. On the other hand, the Lower Carboniferous Series of the northern Hainan Island consists mainly of the carbonate and clastic rocks. Hence, the Nanhao Formation has to be rejected there. Again, it is reasonable to nominate a new formation name for that strata. |
