| Abstract: | Based on the data of the historical and the recent earthquakes in China, we analysed seismic activity and earthquake disaster of important cities. It is indicated that some important cities suffered strong earthquake damage and facing potential seismic hazard. Therefore, we suggest that more attention should be paid on the research of contents and methods of scenario earthquakes surrounding the important cities of China. |
