| Abstract: | In this paper, the propagation of electromagnetic waves through a plasma sheath that is around the vehicle and whose electron density assumes nonsymmetric normal dis- tribution, is discussed. The formulas of reflexion and transmission are derived. Some examples are given. The results are compared with those obtained by the so-called equivalent homogeneous distribution. |
