| Abstract: | This is the first time in China to conduct such activities for evaluating good news of seismological work, with the purpose of encouraging journalists to produce good news related with earthquake preparedness and hazard mitigation, promoting popular dissemination of information on that aspect, so as to implement comprehensive measures against seismic hazards and minimize losses from earthquakes. This article describes the aim, procedure, results and main gains of the evaluation activity. |
