| Abstract: | In this paper, a brief introduction is given to the M6.7 earthquake which occurred on December 19, 2009 off the coast of Hualien, Taiwan, and the emergency response to the event by the Earthquake Administration of Xiamen City. A discussion is made on how to improve the emergency measures, which is of certain significance to earthquake emergency response in Xiamen. |
