| 摘 要： | 本文根据宏观调查资料，就１９９４年９月１６日台湾海峡发生的７．３级地震对厦门市的影响进行了综述和初步分析。文章提出，经济特区和沿海开发区的城市建设应该重视抗震设防。通过这次地震中广东、福建部分地区造成重大人员伤亡事故，说明了加强地震科普宣传教育，提高全社会防震减灾意识的重要性。

| Abstract: | This paper,based on macroexamination data,overviews and primarily analyzes the effects onXiamen of the earthquake of M7. 3 Occurring on September l6,1994 in the Taiwan Stralt.The paperputs forward that urban construction of the special economic areas and the coastal development areasshould pay more attention to earthquake resistance and protection. Through analysis of the heavycasualties caused by the quake in parts of Guangdong and Fujian Provinces,it is shown that to en-hance propaganda of popular seismological science and education and to raise the consciousness of socialearthquake preparedness and disaster reduction are of importance. |
