| Abstract: | The properties of the phase data of the magnetotelluric impedance and their implications in the inversion interpretation are summarized and reviewed. It is demonstrated that the briefly described normalization inversion method by using impedance phase data is an improvement to the inversion method in 1]. Examples of the computations with theoretical models and field data as well as the preliminary analysis are presented. |
