| Abstract: | The seismo-geological background,site engineering condition and disaster characteristics of Baotou M_S6.4 earthquake in 1996 are analyzed and summarized.The prevention measures and emergency countermeasures for city earthquake event in Baotou city are introduced,and some problems in the countermeasure are put forward. |
