辽宁地区地震目录最小完整性震级研究

摘    要:地震目录完整性震级MC是地震学中最为基础的研究工作之一,对完整性震级的科学评估,是进行地震活动性及其他统计相关研究的基础,同时MC也表征了台网监测能力的强弱。以1970年以来辽宁地震台网记录的目录为研究对象,利用"震级—序号"、"最大曲率"、"90%拟合度"等方法对辽宁地区不同时段的最小完整性震级进行了测定。结果显示:1975年之后,随着辽宁测震台网的加密,MC逐步降低;在1989—2007年,辽宁地区一直处于MC1.5的较低的时段;2008年的台网改造对MC产生了一定的影响达到了ML2.0,但在2012年已恢复。表明1989年之后,辽宁地区的测震资料较为完善。

MINIMUM MAGNITUDE OF COMPLETENESS FOR EARTHQUAKE CATALOGUES IN LIAONING REGION
Abstract:The minimum magnitude of completeness (MC) in earthquake catalogues is one of the most basic research in seismology. Scientific assessment of the minimum magnitude of completness, is the basis for the relevant research on seismic activity and other statistics. At the same time,MC also characterize the network monitoring ability. Based on the 1970—2013 earthquake catalogues in Liaoning region, we analyzed temporal variation of the minimum magnitude of completeness for earthquake catalogue by using the magnitude-order number, the maximum curvature (MAXC) and the goodness-of-fit test (GFT) methods. The results showed: after 1975, with the Liaoning seismic network encryption,MC decreased gradually, in the years 1989—2007, has been in a lowMC period in Liaoning area. Network transformation in 2008 has produced effect onMC, but has been restored in 2012. After 1989, earthquake measuring data of Liaoning area and comparatively perfect.
