| Abstract: | Specific features of the geomorphology and hydrology of Selenga River delta are considered. Fractal theory is used to evaluate the fractal dimension of the river delta as a branched structure. The fractal dimension of the planar pattern of the Selenga and Volga deltas are evaluated for the first time using three independent methods. The obtained values are 1.38 and 1.72, respectively. |
