| Abstract: | Data of long-term observations of water and hydrochemical regimes were used to characterize relationships between water flow and dissolved solids discharge in the three major tributaries of Lake Baikal, which account for about two-thirds of the total water inflow into the lake. The total dissolved solids content (TDS) of these rivers' water and the concentrations of the principal ions are classified taking into account the relationships between the sources of alimentation. |
