| Abstract: | This paper introduced the basic contents and the present situation of the chaotic theory, analyzed the complicated process during earthquakes and its chaotic features, discussed the new viewpoint, new knowledge and new methods brought to the earthquake prediction research by the chaotic theory, which show that the chaotic theory is of important directive significance to solve the problem further of earthquake prediction. |
