| Abstract: | We summarized the existing effective national metrological regulations and metrological technical regulations with emphasis on introducing the distinguishing features of the newest edition of "Quantities and units" national standard, which has come into effect on July.1, 1994. It is very important for seismological scientists, technicians and administrators to understand correctly and use the mandatory national standard. |
