赤峰中心地震台面波震级偏差分析

摘    要:地震震级是地震三要素之一,如何准确测定震级对于地震速报与应急工作至关重要。选取赤峰中心地震台2016年1月1日到2019年5月31日测定的674个地震事件的面波震级进行分析,并与中国地震台网中心发布的正式目录进行比较,并根据不同的震中距和方位角,给出面波震级偏差及校正值。结果表明:随着震级和震中距增大,震级偏差增大;赤峰中心地震台以北地区的不同方位角范围内,地震面波震级偏差分别为0.15、-0.13,以南地区的不同方位角范围内,地震面波震级偏差分别为0.22、0.16;根据参考校正值重新计算震级,通过震级对比结果表明校正效果较好。

Abstract:Earthquake magnitude is one of the three essential elements of an earthquake, determining magnitude accurately is very important for earthquake rapid report and emergency. Surface wave magnitude of 674 earthquakes measured at the Chifeng Central Seismic Station from January 1, 2016, to May 31, 2019, was selected for analysis and statistics. The earthquake magnitudes were compared with the official earthquake catalogue released by the China Earthquake Networks Center; the surface wave magnitude deviations and correction values are obtained for different epicentral distances and azimuths. It is found that the magnitude deviation increases with the increase of earthquake magnitude and epicentral distance. Within the range of different azimuths in the north region of Chifeng Central Seismic Station, the surface wave magnitude deviations are 0.15 and -0.13; and within the range of different azimuths in the south region of Chifeng Central Seismic Station, the surface wave magnitude deviations are 0.22 and 0.16. Recalculate the magnitudes using correction values, and the results of the magnitude comparison show that the correction effect is good.
