1998年华南大暴雨冷空气活动的位涡场分析

摘    要:用位涡分析方法讨论了1998年6月18-26日华南特大暴雨期间的冷空气活动特征。结果表明,在持续的东亚阻塞形势下,中高纬冷空气分三次南下,侵入江南至华南地区,造成三次大暴雨过程;南下冷空气在江南一带被来自低纬的西南暖湿气流和东南暖湿气流所切断,形成一高位涡冷空气中心。冷暖空气相互作用的结果使东亚温度场呈现南北暖、中间冷的形式。

Abstract:The activity of cold air during the torrential rain at 18~26th June,1998 in South China (SC) is analyzed by using the potential vorticity (PV) theory.Results show that under the situation of persistent East Asian (EA) blocking pattern,the southward air from mid and high latitude rushed into the area between South of the Yangtze River and SC three times,corresponding to three times of heavy rain.The air was cut by the Southwest and Southeast warm moist air flow from low latitude in the vicinity of South of the Yangtze River,and formed a high PV center of cold air.As the result of the interaction of cold and warm airs,the EA temperature field displayed a particular pattern,i.e.,a low center accompanied by two high areas in South and North respectively.
