| Abstract: | This paper analyses the strong sandstorm weather occurred in southern Xingjiang from 17 to 18 March in 1998.It points out some important factors such as fore-heating in southern Xingjiang basin,heat low reinforcing,cold air of Timaer peninsula moving east-southward along the arctic-land pathand,cold air entering southern Xingjiang basin.These factors lead to the east-gale sand and dust storm weather. |
