| Abstract: | By using a two-level quasi-geostrophic spectral model, the numerical experiments on blocking process affected by thermal forcing are conducted. The dynamic mechanisms of blocking, including the resonance between wave and forcing, the control effects of thermal forcing on the position and intensity of the highs and the instabilities of two kinds of equilibrium states are studied by controlled experiments. |
