| Abstract: | In this paper,WKB method is applied to discuss the development and the change of structure of topographic barotropic Rossy wave. The results indicate that the evo- lution and attenuation of waves are related to not only the increase and decrease of wave am- pliude and wave-length but also the state of wave trough. |
