天气雷达接收机传输特性参数S的动态测量方法

摘    要:通常,天气雷达测量目标的反射率因子Z是依据对数接收机对稳定幅度的输入信号的传输特性参数,即斜率S和截距B,应用雷达气象方程估算得到的。由于接收机传输特性随时间容易发生变化,因此要经常对它定标。本文提出利用雷达视频信号处理器输出的各个距离库单元上的天气回波数字信号,实时地获取一组对数接收机传输特性曲线斜率的动态测值S,从而快速有效地估算其平均斜率S和相应截距B的新方法。并可利用这一技术随时检查接收机传输特性随时间变化的情况。以便及时更新S、B的值,保证反射率因子的估算精度。

Abstract:In general,the measurement of the weather radar targets' reflectivity factor Z is calculated according to the transfer characteristic parameters (slope S and intercept B) of the input signal having a stable amplitude,which is obtained from radar logarithmic receiver,and the application of radar meteorological equation.So the calibration must be frequently done because of the change of the transfer characteristic with time. This paper presents a new method obtaining in real time a set of dynamical measurements of slopes of the curve representing the logarithmic receiver transfer chracteristic S i by using the weather echo signal of each range bin at output of radar signal processor, and thus estimating quickly and effectively the average slope and its relevant intercept B. Moreover, the technique may be used to examine easily the change of the transfer characteristic with time so that the S and B are updated duly and the estimated accuracy of the reflectivity factor is maintained.
