Abstract:This article deals with a distance weighing method through which the rainfall intensity and the area precipitation amount detected by weather radar are adjusted. The result shows that not only the radar Measurernent agrees with the measurement of rain ganges but also the radar detected rainfall distributuin pattern in the no rainfall station can be retained after the adjustment. It is also found that accuracy can be guaranteed by time extrapolation technique forecaet area precipitation amonnt and rainfall intensity distribution pattern.
