Abstract: | In order to solve the bulky and inconvenient installation problems of the Lightning Location System, a new method of LLS based on a new lightning sensor AS3935 is proposed. When lightning happened, longitude and latitude, height, time were obtained by a GPS module, the distance from ground lightning to a detector was measured through AS3935. Detectors transmitted packaged data to a center station via a wireless TCP communication method. The longitude, latitude and height of lightning were calculated by multiple circles intersect method, and the Google map was realized in the software of center station by using C# and JavaScript language. The Google map obtained the lightning address via longitude and latitude, and the center station saved lightning information to database. The experiment proves that the system has a good position performance, reduces the volume of detectors and system costs, and is suitable for practical use. |
