江西省冻雨气候概况和环流特征

摘    要:利用NCEP2.5°×2.5°再分析资料和常规观测资料,对1959─2008年江西省冻雨天气过程的气候概况进行归纳分析,并重点分析了其间18次典型区域性冻雨天气过程的环流特征、热力层结、影响系统。结果表明,江西省冻雨具有明显的年代际、年际变化特征,全省冻雨日数总体呈下降趋势;空间分布上呈现出中间多、南北少的特征,各地冻雨分布极不均匀。在环流形势上,500hPa高纬地区有阻塞高压,以乌拉尔山阻高最多,鄂霍茨克海有深厚冷涡,咸里海为低压区,巴尔喀什湖附近有横槽;低纬地区在孟加拉湾到中国西南地区存在稳定的南支低槽;对流层中低层存在切变线,700hPa西南气流强盛,急流轴最大风速超过16m/s;850hPa锋区强盛,0℃等温线位于赣中南部到赣南北部;对流层中低层存在明显的逆温。地面冷空气多从中路(河套地区)入侵,蒙古冷高压异常强大,为冻雨的产生提供了热力条件。

Abstract:Based on the NCEP 2.5°×2.5° reanalysis data and daily observation data, the climate characteristics of freezing rain for the period of 1959 to 2008 in Jiangxi are summarized, and the circulation features, thermal stratification and influencing systems of 18 typical regional freezing rain processes are analyzed. The results show that freezing rain events in Jiangxi present noticeable inter-annual and inter-decadal variations, and the number of freezing rain day reduces with time obviously. As to the spatial distribution, there are more freezing rain events in middle Jiangxi while less in southern and northern Jiangxi, which present inhomogeneous distribution. At 500 hPa, the freezing rain events are associated with blocking high, most of which are Ural block highs; there is a strong cold vortex near the Okhotsk Sea, a horizontal trough near the Lake Balkhash. In the low latitude area, a stable southern trough maintains from the Bangladesh Bay to southwest China. A majority of the freezing rain events are associated with shear lines at mid-low height. Meanwhile, there is a significant southwest jet at 700 hPa with an over 16 m/s axis, and there is a strong frontal zone with the 0 ℃ isotherm at the 850 hPa locating from the south part of middle Jiangxi to the north part of southern Jiangxi. Most of the freezing rain events are accompanied by inversion layers at the mid-low layer of troposphere. Generally, the surface cold air goes down along the mid-way (Hetao area) where the extremely strong Mongolia cold high can offer favorable thermal condition for freezing rain.
