| 摘 要： | 从深海钻探计划(DSDP)在20世纪70年代最早提出海洋沉积物中细菌活动性的证据到90年代大洋钻探计划(ODP)获得了令人信服的海底深部生物的存在证据，并成为即将启动的综合大洋钻探计划(IODP)的一个优先研究领域，深部生物圈成为科学大洋钻探近年来最为重大的发现之一，同时它也将有效地促进地球科学和生物学等其他学科的交叉。

| Abstract: | From the first evidence of microbial activity in the subsurface realm of oceanic sediments provided by DSDP in 1970s to convincing the widespread presence of a deep sub seafloor biosphere presented by ODP until 1990s, this largely undocumented deep biosphere has been one of the most important discoveries for scientific ocean drilling in recent years. Moreover, it is schemed out that IODP be initiated from Oct. 1, 2003, which will promote the cross link of geosciences and biology as well as other correlative subjects. |
