| Abstract: | Based on fieldwork and data collected on the nonresidential islands in Fujian , this paper generalizes the present status of the island exploitation in comparisons of the results from the survey for island resources of Fujian in 1990. The problems due to exploitation of the nonresidential islands is assessed and tentative suggestions and countermeasures on the exploitation and protection of the nonresidential islands are also proposed. |
