| Abstract: | The present paper is based on the materials taken from 131 stations in the ten major bays of Fujian Province in October to November, 1985.
In the ten bays(i, e Funing Bay, Sandu Bay, Luoyuan Bay, Minjiang Estuary, Xinghua Bay, Meizhou Bay,Quanzhou Bay, Xunjiang Bay, Dongshan Bay and Zhao'an Bay ), 72 species of polychaetous annelids were found,among them 58 species are identified,of which 11 species are the domi nant. They are Sthelonepis japonica, Euniphysa aculeata, Lumbrineris nagae, Marphysa stragulum, Aglaophamus dibranchis, Aglaophamus lyrochaeta, Paraprionospio pinnata, Sternaspis scutata, Amaeana trilobata, Terebelliaes stroemii and Ophelina sibogae.
The average biomass and density of polychaete in the ten bays are 2.48g/m~2 and 63. 13 ind./m~2 respectively. |
