| Abstract: | This, paper deals with current status of ocean energy resources and its utilization in theoff shore and island waters along Fujian coast. The countermeasures for the development andutilization on ocean energy resources are emphasized. It is clearly pointed out that oceanenergy resouces are rich in Fujian Province and it is one of the ways to fill the gap of powershortage and accelerate the economic development for the islands by using the local oceanenergy resou rce. |
