| Abstract: | The results of investigations on the seasonal variations of the water temperature field constructed from observational data based on the statistical method of variance analysis are reported. Oceanic areas with dominant semi-annual variations are discriminated. The depth of the seasonal sea-water temperature variation is estimated for the North Atlantic.Translated by Mikhail M.
