| Abstract: | The hydrographic data obtained during the observation period in the western central Pacific (Jan. to Feb. and Apr. to June, 1979) were used for analysing the distributions of temperature, salinity and the features of current system in the area of the equatorial under current (EUC) . The structure of the current field in the area of EUC and adjacent ocean are described. |
