| Abstract: | Larvae of American red fish(Sciaenops ocellatus ) hatched in Qingdao, China Was cultured in cages and ponds in early or middle of Junc. 1906 with total lcngth of 25-30 mm at the beginning. In middlc Dccember, 1996, the mean weight of cultured fish reached 750g and 800g in the cages and ponds respectively. It can be seen that the growth rate of red fish is faster than that of other acquaculturcal finfish species in China. |
