氚和氦-3对研究海洋过程的应用

摘    要:氚(3H)与其它全球散落放射性产物的不同之处,在于它与水文循环密切关联。本文通过介绍中大西洋脊两侧Azores(亚速尔群岛)海域、表层海水中3H及其放射性子体产物氦-3(3He)浓度分布的演变,揭示了沿亚速尔群岛流有一强锋存在,以及3H浓度与海水盐度、氧含量、水团“年龄”之间的关系,有力地说明在HTO分子状态的3H,对研究海洋过程是一理想的示踪剂。

Abstract:The differences between Tritium (3H) and other global falloff radioactive products lie in its close relation to hydrologic cycle. The existence of a Strong front along the Azores current as revealed in this paper by presenting the development of the distribution of the concentrations of 3H and its radioactive daughter product sHe in the surface water of the sea area of Azores on both sides of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge as well as the concentration of tritium in relation to seawater salinity, oxyegen content and the age of water mass have strongly demonstrated that 3H in the form of HTO molecules is an ideal tracer for oceanographic process studies.
