| Abstract: | This paper giyes a relatively detailed exposition of recent advances in foreign estuarine re- search from the aspect of investigative techniques and that of theoretical research and,on this ba- sis,presents the features of the current development in this field of research as follows:break- throughs in basic theoretical research have been acquired,new techniques have been widely adopt- ed,attention has been paid to improvement of methods of investigation and to multi-disciplinary collaboration through which comprehensive investigation is carried out to solve problems jointly. |
