Abstract: | By using the pseudo 3 D fKdV equation and the method of four region division, the generating velocities, i.e., the moving velocity of precursor solitions, the flow velocity in the depressed water region and the velocity of first zero crossing, are found theoretically. This theory is an extension of the theory of precursor soliton generation of Xu et al . As application examples, theoretical prediction and comparison of the generating velocities in isoscelec triangle and square section channels with the same section area are carried out by means of the theoretical results obtained by the authors. |
