| Abstract: | The intrusion of sea water is one of the most harmful natural disasters. The computation of the interface of sea water and fresh water is helpful in the determination of the range of sea water intrusion. The principle, method and procedure of using B-spline functions in the interface computation are described in detail in this paper, the results applied to the littoral area of Laizhou show that the method is simple in its principle, easy to use and produces reliable results. |
