台西南盆地和北港隆起的中生界及其沉积环境

摘    要:我国南海海域广泛存在中生代沉积地层,在南海寻找中生界油气藏潜力极大。台西南盆地和北港隆起有数十口井钻遇中生界,经过详细生物地层学工作确定了下白垩统(阿普特阶和下阿尔必阶)和侏罗系(?)两套中生代地层,是迄今南海北部中生界地层研究最为深入的地区,可作为对比的样板。介绍了台西南盆地和台湾西部中生界的岩性、岩相和生物地层学特征,指出晚侏罗世(?)与早白垩世之间沉积环境发生了显著变化,台西南盆地由深海至半深海变为内陆,而北港隆起由内陆变为海陆交互和浅海环境。

Abstract:Mesozoic sediments widely distribute in the South China Sea and are potential-ly prosperous in hydrocarbon exploration. Dozens of wells drilled in the SW Taiwan ba-sin of northeastern South China Sea and the Peikang high of western Taiwan Island en-countered Mesozoic strata, inc1uding two sequences of Lower Cretaceous (Aptian andLower Albian) and Jurassic(?) according to biostratigraphic and litho1ogic evidences.These are the best studied Mesozoic strata so far in northern South China Sea. This pa-per presents data on the lithologic, sedimentary facies and biostratigraphic characteristicsof the Mesozoic strata in the two areas. These data indicate a significant change in sedi-mentary environment occurred between the deposition of the two sequences. The SWTaiwan basin shifted from bathyl--abysal to continental environment; while the Peikanghigh from continental to littoral--neritic environment. The two areas provide importantdata which may be used in stratigraphic correlation and tectonic interpretation for theSouth China Sea.
