Abstract:In the situation of global warming and sea level rise, the method of the direct impact assessment of sea level rise of the coastal areas based on GIS (Geographic Information System) is researched, and Tianjin Binhai new area is chosen as the object for the assessment research in this paper. On the basis of GIS and foundational geographic information, the range of the influenced land area can be calculated, and then according to this result, the way to assess the impacts on the population, economy, traffic and water area is discussed, and in this paper, we introduce the assessment results of the impacts on the land, economy and population of Tianjin Binhai new area.
