摘    要:冲绳海槽DG9603孔高分辨率的硅藻、有孔虫、孢粉和植物硅酸体化石的记录,提供了联系海洋与陆地气候变化的直接证据。结果显示,中国东部及邻海区最近20kaBP以来海洋环境的文化滞后陆地气候的变化约1000a,初步认为这种滞后现象可能是北半球陆地气候快速变化的同步性和温盐环流从北大西洋缓慢传送到太平洋海域的时间差引起的。

Abstract:An important goal of palaeoclimatology is to understand how the land and ocean are coupled during climate changes. Most of studies in paleoclimatology has oriented towards determining the relative timing of climate events, particularly the rapid climate change events that represented the last glacial period, in different parts of the globe or in different climate subsystems. Unfortunately, detailed knowledge concerning leads or lags of climate changes between land and sea on the millennial time scale is still lacking. Here we present new high-resolution records of four proxies, including marine, foraminifera, pollen, and phytolith, from the same core DG9603 located at the Okinawa Trough, East China Sea (ECS), providing a continuous and directly linked evidence for the processes of marine and terrestrial climate changes. The data show that during the last 20 ka oceanographic changes of the ECS lagged behind the epicontinent climate changes by about 1 000 a. We suggest that the thermohaline circulation, being a potential thermal source of long-term memory on time scales up to a millennium, was the major driving factor for asynchronous changes between marine and continental climatic systems in East Asia.
