摘    要:铁锰结核的内部构造反映了其生长环境,也反映了生长机制,由于微生物生态演替造成的氧化和还原条件的交替,产生了具有不同矿物和化学成分的纹层和柱状构造。

Abstract:Mineralogical analysis,microprobe analysis and microbiological mineralization simulation experiments show that there are changes of Fe and Mn contents in different laminae and these changes are in positive or negative relations with P 2O 5 and SiO 2 contents,and also the separation of Mn from Fe has something to do with the changes of Eh and pH values.Thus we can say that the repetition of media oxidation and reduction under the action of sea floor micro organisms is the true cause of the formation of laminar and columnar structures of ferromanganese nodules.
