布容法则及其在中国海岸上的应用

摘    要:布容(Bruun)法则是预测海平面上升引起海岸侵蚀最早的方法也是最简单的方法。根据中国砂质和淤泥质海岸的情况,布容法则可定性地解释海平面上升与海岸侵蚀的关系,在满足它要求条件的海岸地段和发育时期,用它预测海岸侵蚀或许是可能的。但是,若不严格审查海岸环境和条件,把它作为海平面上升情况预测海岸侵蚀的普遍模式,有待更多的研究加以证明。

Abstract:Coast erosion is one of the most serious results of the global warming and sea level rise.The prediction of coastline retreat is a concern problem in the world,with doubling CO 2 in the atmosphere and acceleration of global sea level rise.The Bruun model is an earliest and simplest method for prediction of coastal retreat under circumstances of sea level rise.Recently some researchers deal with the prediction of coastline recession by sea level rise,using the Bruun Rule. Chinese coastline crosses tectonic uplift and subsidence belts.In the coastal zone of uplift belts sand beaches are usually distributed.The Bruun Rule was developed and forecasted in sand coast.The sand coast of China is mainly distributed in tectonic uplift belts,where the uplift rate usually exceeded or was close to the rate of sea level rise during past decades.According to prediction of next several decades when CO 2 will be doubled and sea level rise will be accelerated,the tectonic uplift rate will still exceed or balance the rate of sea level rise in most of uplift areas.So in the coastal zone of uplift belts there is no condition for application of the Bruun Rule to predict coastline recession resulting from sea level rise.The coastal zone of subsidence belts including subsiding areas (grabens)in uplift belts accepts great rivers flowing into the sea,with abundant suspended load,which leads to form widely stretching plain and muddy coast.The sediment surplus is a fundamental trend of muddy coast,although recently sediment supply is decreased due to human activity.The sediment budget is very changeable,with great contribution of deposits at the modern delta,particularly in the active distributary mouths,and sediment deficient at coastal zones close to abandoned delta lobes.Consequently,it could not coincide with Bruun Rule assumptions of sediment balance in the coastal zone,and it is difficult to apply the Bruun Rule to prediction of coastline retreat caused by sea level rise in muddy coast.In addition,the derivation of the Bruun Rule did not incorporate the influence of tide,and in the muddy coastal zone there is usually strong tidal influence. Bruun Model,as a theoretical idea,is very important for us to understand coastline recession under circumstance of sea level rising,but it needs strict conditions applicable for Bruun Rule request,if use it to numerically predict coast erosion by sea level rise.The Bruun Rule may be suitable for calculation and prediction of coastline recession in some coastal zones of China,however,it needs serious study.
