芋螺科系统分类学研究进展

摘    要:芋螺科(Conidae)是一类多样性较高的暖水性海洋贝类,肉食性,体内有毒素可射杀猎物。芋螺毒素具有重要的研究价值和经济意义,因此该类动物备受关注。我国南海蕴藏着丰富的芋螺动物资源,芋螺资源的开发及相关研究需要分类学提供支撑。本文简述了芋螺科的系统分类研究历史,回顾了这一类群的国内外系统分类学研究进展,分析了中国海域芋螺科分类学目前存在的问题和不足。文终指出通过经典分类学和分子系统学研究的交叉综合,结合中国海域的研究材料,将会补充和完善国际上较新的芋螺科分类系统,缩小与国外同类研究间的差距。

Abstract:The Conidae family is a group of predatory marine gastropods that are present in tropical and temperate seas. Due to the diversity of their toxins, Conidae family has been the focus of many pharmaceutical studies. The South China Sea is rich source of Conidae. For this group, the development of resources and its related research require a robust phylogeny and taxonomy. This paper reviews the progress of taxonomic research on Conidae and discusses the problems and shortcomings prevalent in the taxonomy of this group in China. To improve and modify the existing systematics of this family, we will study the materials/composition of the Conidae family in Chinese waters, using an integrative taxonomic approach incorporating both morphology and molecular data. Similar studies throughout the world will narrow the gap and increase our understanding on the composition and distribution of these species.
