| Abstract: | A perspex disc produced for the purpose of sizing unconsolidated sediment samples in the field has eight segmented compartments where standard samples ranging from granules to clay are sited. The sample to be sized is placed over the clear perspex area of the disc and sized by visual comparison with the fractions in the segments. |
