摘    要:琼州海峡是海南岛与雷州半岛之间重要交通通道,也是南海与北部湾两个海区水交换通道。最大涨落潮流速位于海峡北部和中部,且涨潮流速小于落潮流速;余流方向从东向西,最大余流位于北部;大潮期间向西输运从而进入北部湾的水体是0.0484Sv,小潮期间向西输运的水体则减少到0.0195Sv。向南的水量输运,大潮期间为0.1001Sv,小潮期间则降到0.0598Sv。向南输运的水量是由于海峡中间存在一个气旋环流引起的。

Abstract:Qiongzhou Strait is a important transportation passage between Lei zhou Peninsula and Hainan Province.It is also exchange passage of water between South China Sea and Gall of Baibu.(1) largest speeds of tidal curret are located in north and center part of Strait.The speed of flood tidalcurrent is smaller than ebb speed in the section.(2)The maximum speed of residual current is located in north part of Strait.The directions of all residual currents is from East to West;(3)Transportation volume of water into Galf of Beibu is 0.0484SV in spring tide,and is 0.0195Sv in neap tide.(4) Transportation volume of water to south is 0. 1001Sv in spring tide,and is 0.0598Sv in neap tide.The large southern transportation is gen- erated by cyclonic circulation.
