Discovery of the early Early Devonian conodonts from the Kuche area of Xinjiang |

| Abstract: | The conodonts illustrated in this paper were collected from the Kuchehe section in the Kuche area of Xinjiang. The conodont fauna, including Amydrotaxis johnsoni alpha morpho-type, Ancyrodelloides transitans, A.trigonicus and Ozarkodina stygia gamma morphotype,, indicates a late Lochkovian age. The Devonian conodont sequences are now distributed from the hesperius Zone of the Lowermost Devonian to the praesulcata Zone of the Uppermost Devonian. |
