论抚顺煤田耿家街组

摘    要:耿家街组是抚顺煤田下第三系最上部地层,这一组名正式见诸文献为1978年。因建组剖面不含化石,它的时代历来就有始新世与渐新世之争。本文证实它是西露天组的一部分,是西露天组上部地层的相变,其时代应和西露天组相同。由于其分布面积不到1km2,又隶属于西露天组上部。已动摇了作为一个独立的组存在的意义。为慎重起见,建议对该组进一步研究后再决定取舍,并遵重这一组名的使用者──辽宁省和抚顺煤田地质工作者的意见。

Abstract:The Gengjiajie Formation is in the upper part of the Eogene in the Fushun coal field. The formal nomenclature of the formation firstly appeared in the literature in 1978. The primary section of the formation is unfossiliferous. It remains uncertain whether its geological age is Eocene or Oligocene. This paper proves that it is a part of the Xilutian Formation and another sedimentary type of the strata. Its geological age should be the same as that of the Xilutian Formation. Since the area of distribution is less than 1km2 and belongs to the upper part of the Xilutian Formation, this has changed its significance as an independent formation. For the purpose of prudence, we propose that a further study of the formation should be made first and determination should be offered then, and we should respect the users of the formation nomenclature-the geological workers of the Fushun coal field and Liaoning Province.
