present paper deals with palynological assemblages on the northern margin of the Tarim Basin,
including the Dictyophyllidites Aratrisporites Parataeniaesporites assemblage (the Late
Triassic Huangshanjie Fm.and Tariqike Fm.) and Disacciatrileti Cyathidites assemblage
(Lower Jurassic Ahe Fm.) and Cyathidites Cibotumspora Disacciatrileti assemblage (Lower
Jurassic Yangxia Fm.).The age of the Tariqike Fm.may be assigned to late Late Triassic,and
The Ahe Fm.assigned to early Early Jurassic.The boun dary between Triassic and Jurassic
on the northern margin of the Tarim Basin is placed between the Tariqike Fm.and Ahe Fm. |
