晚白垩世中国东南沿岸山系与中南地区的沙漠和盐湖化

摘    要:晚白垩世在中国东南沿古太平洋西岸地区形成了一条巨大的沿岸山系,其山峰高度在3500—4000m之间,东西宽度近500km,挡住了东来的暖湿气流,使中南地区云梦泽内陆水域的广大平原和丘陵地变成了一个热带—亚热带干旱、炎热的半沙漠和盐湖地区,这一古地理和古气候格局一直持续到早第三纪末才开始改变。

Abstract:Based on the Late Devonian standard zonation of Ziegler et Sandberg (1990),three conodont zones are recognized in the lower member of the Devonian Wuzhishan Formation,in descending order as mixed Upper crepida Zone,mixed Middle crepida-triangularis Zone,Lower triangularis Zone.Reworked fossils are also recognized in this member,which consists of calcareous parabreccia interbedded with nodular limestones.Therefore,the lower member should be carbonate turbidite deposits,which occurred in triangularis- Upper crepida Zone, Famennian.Moreover,the lower member is considered to be deposited near the slope in an episcalic basin,it is believed that at least two kinds of turbidites exist in the member.In addition,many microspheres are recognized in this member.
