摘    要:<正> 苏皖北部晚前寒武纪地层是指凤阳群不整合面之上,寒武系下统猴家山组平行不整合面之下的一套地层。这套地层在没有进行1:20万区域地质调查之前,前人的地质工作主要是在淮南,所建立起来的晚前寒武纪地层层序是正确的,如徐嘉炜(1959)所确定的晚前寒武纪地层层序及其划分(自下而上为下震旦统八公山统下部石英岩,它不整合在前震旦纪角闪片岩为主变质岩系上,其上为刘老碑页岩,再上为上部石英岩和上震旦统四顶山统泥质灰岩及泥灰岩层,其上是矽质灰岩,并被寒武系下统猴家山组平行不整合覆盖)是比较完善的。

Collation of the Late Precambrian stratigraphic sequence in the northern parts of Jiangsu and Anhui
Abstract:The Xuhai Group is comprising, in ascending order, Jiayuan, Zhaoyu, Niyuan, Jiuding-shan, Zhangqu and Weiji Formations belonging to Middle Proterozoic Jixian System for containing Jurusania, Conophyton, Kussiella, Minijaria and Baicalia batcalica of fourth stromatolite assemblage in Jixian System. The redefined Caodian, Bagongshan, Liulaobei (containing Chuaria and Tawuia), Shouxian, Jiuliqiao (containing fossil worms) and Sidingshan Formations, in ascending order, are correlated with Lanling (661Ma), Xinxing (669Ma, containing Chuaria), Jushan (661Ma) and Jinshan (647Ma, bearing fossil worms), Gouhou Formations and belong to Sinian System based on contained fossil worms and isotopic dating. They may be further divided into two series. The lower series comprises Caodian, Bagongshan, Liulaobei and Shouxian Formations, equivalent to the rocks from Lanling Formation to Jushan Formation. The upper series comprises Jiuliqiao, Sidingshan and Jinshanzai Formations, equivalent to the Gouhou Formation. The Caodian Formation is in unconformable with both underlying Fengyang and Xuhuai Groups and Sidingshan Formation in disconfor mity with overlying Lower Cambrian Houjiashan Formation. The isotopic age is 700±20 Ma at their lower limit and about 570Ma at their upper limit, corresponding to the Sinian in Hubei (from Nantuo to Dengying Formations) and in southern Liaoning (from Yongning to Jinjia Formations).
