| 摘 要： | <正> 湘西北武陵山南麓,沿桃源、慈利两县边界的长约40km、宽10余km的范围内,寒武纪地层广泛出露。层序完整,尤以上寒武统发育为佳,为一套斜坡相的碳酸盐岩组成的地层,含丰富的过渡型三叶虫动物群。1965年湖南区测队曾在桃源汤家溪测制剖面,对本区的寒武系做过初步划分。1980年,笔者在慈利沈家湾和桃源瓦儿岗详测了两条上寒武

Upper Cambrian in the Cili-Taoyuan area, Hunan and its trilobite succession |

| Abstract: | The Upper Cambrian in the Taoyuan-Cili area, northwestern Hunan constitutes a thick carbonate sequence containing mainly dark-colored deep water laminated argillaceous limestone and turbidite with intercalations of light-colored transported and, sometimes, folded, shallow water limestone, limestone breccia and intraformational limestone conglomerate.Sedimentation evidences suggests that it was possibly deposited in the lower part of a ocean-facing continental slope.Trilobite fauna shows both assemblages of the Southeast-and the North-China types associated with endemfc elements.Lithologically, the Upper Cambrian can be divided into three formations, the Chefu Formation below, the Bitiao Formation and Shenjiawan Formation above.The Shen jiawan section in the Taoyuan-Cili area is widely accepted as a stratotype section of both the Bitiao and Shenjiawan Formations of the Wulingshan {Wuling Mountains) Region in the Jiangnan Slope Belt.A complete Late Cambrian trilobite succesion with 15 assemblage zones and 2 assemblage sub-zones is proposed, namely in ascending order: 1 Formosagnostus jarmosus-Distazerts A.-Z.,2.Ag-nostascus (Paragnostascus) sincnsis A.-Z., 3.Liostra etna bella~Ammagnosttt sincnsis A.,-Z., 4.Glyp-tagnoszus stolidotus A.Z., 5.Glyptagnostus reticula tus reticulatus-Chuangia wulingensis A..-Z., 6-In-nitcignosttit inexpcctans-Procer atopy ge (Proceratopygc) protrada A-Z , 7.Coryncxochits plumula-Proce-ratopyge (Sinoproccr atopy g€} cf.Jyangshancnsis A.-Z., 8.Agnostotcs clavata-lrvingcUa angustihmbatus A.-Z., 9.Rkaptagnostus cihensis-Onchonoiellus cf.kurukiagensis AAZ-, 10.Lotagnostus (Eolatagnos-luc) docurus-Kaolishaniella A.-Z.,11.Probilacunasps nasalis-Peichashania hunanensis A.-Z.,12.Lo-.tagnostus (Lota gnostics) punctatiis-Hedinaspis re gaits A.-Z.12a.Lotagnwstus'(Disiagnortus) celatus-Charchagra glabrescens A.-Z.,12b.Shergoldio-lvshmaspjs A.-Z., 13.Eulonia (Archaculoma) taoyuancnse-Leiagnostus cf.bcxelli A.-Z., 14.Mictisaubja striata-Ftatocephatus 'A.-Z.and 15.Leiostegium (Lciaste-gium) constrictum-Shcnjiawania brevica A.-Z-,Among them, zones 1-4 belong to the Chefu Formation, 5-10 to the Bitiao Formation and 11-15 to the Shenjiawan Formation.Relationship of the Bitiao Formation in the Cili-Taoyuan area to that at its type locality near Bitiao, Baojing County and other localities in western Hunan is discussed with reviews of other problems concerning the stratigraphy of the Wulingshan Region. |
