| Abstract: | The research progress in the bearing behavior of large-diameter piles has been summarized from load-transfer mechanism, the experimental and theoretical studies on the bearing behavior of large-diameter piles under vertical and horizontal loads. This paper points out the problems existing in research method of all kinds and advantages and disadvantages of various research methods. |
